About the Lougheed Field House

 

In 2014, the old hockey rink in the Village of Lougheed was refurbished as a fieldhouse. Over the years, the ice was replaced with a green turf, part of the bleachers were replaced with a fitness centre, and the concourse area saw new floors and a fresh coat of paint.

Although the facility is a work in progress, the opportunities and potentials are endless. We have seen the facility used for: batting practices, paint nights, laser tag Christmas parties, family reunions, burger nights, fitness classes, babysitting courses and anything in between.

What to know when inquiring about the facility:

The Lougheed Field House as a facility consists of 3 distinct spaces: the fitness centre, the turf and the upstairs concourse/viewing area. Be sure to visit the “Tour” tab to see more of these spaces.

Since each of these spaces interconnect, they can be booked as a whole or separately. See the “Bookings” tab for more information

Memberships to the Lougheed Field House include:

  • 24/7 Access to the Fitness Centre

    • Cardio equipment, weights, squat racks, mats, battle ropes

  • 24/7 Access to the turf (except when the space is rented or booked)

    • Hockey rink sized open floor

    • Basketball nets

    • Soccer nets

    • Badminton & volleyball nets

    • Batting cage
